How to Store Sake

How to Store Sake

Sake should be stored out of direct sunlight or other sources of ultraviolet light, such as fluorescent lighting. Please store in a cool, dark place, and keep the temperature as stable as possible. Avoid high temperatures or sudden changes in temperature.

A refrigerator is ideal. Store vertically — sake should not be stored on its side, as you might store wine. The flavor is best enjoyed within about a year of production.
